Adobe After Effects

Within our Digital Media Tools module we had to use our 6 Frame Animation using Adobe After Effects.
Adobe After Effects is a digital motion graphics software which initially was used in the post-production of television production and film-making.
The story which we would tell through a six frame narrative would be about a female, young character who misses her boyfriend. Although, the audience do not know why, they will have to create their own narrative perhaps such as the idea that perhaps he is working abroad or they live far apart from one another.
I would begin the narrative with flowers which have been edited to a grey-scale, furthermore this makes them look dark, dull and gloomy which signifies how the female character feelings at the time.
Meanwhile the female character is not introduced yet, however the character herself is holding her phone, whilst looking at her display picture of her and her boyfriend.
Due to the character not being introduced yet, we used a close up shot of her looking at her phone. Therefore now the audience know who the character is whilst can reference her on the phone display picture.
Meanwhile there is a knock at the door...
The female character opens the door to her boyfriend with flowers, furthermore we did an over the shoulder shot to represent this as then the audience can understand who is involved in the scenario.
The image has also got a brighter colour to it, which represents the female character being happy to see her boyfriend.
Meanwhile the ending is simply about how happy the female character is that her boyfriend had surprised her by coming home with flowers. Furthermore this relates back to the beginning image of flowers which is unclear to the audience at first.
The final image relates back to the flowers, however in a red colour to represent love and happiness.
