Convergence Culture is a book written by Henry Jenkins describing the relationship between three concepts; collective intelligence, media convergence and participatory culture. A Filipino- American high school student, Dino Ignacio created a collage using Photoshop of the terrorist leader Osama Bin Laden with Sesame Streets character Bert- which ultimately created a meaning that "Bert is Evil"- this is what begun the narrative. 

Subsequently after reading the book itself to gain more knowledge of what the book is about, I had to get into a team of people who have been allocated the same book. Furthermore once we were in our teams our task was to create a Wiki which will provide information about the book for users to gain enough information for them to ultimately write an essay about the book. 

Setting up a wiki was not too complicated we just simply had to sign up by creating a website name (www.convergence-culture.wikia.com). Once we had done this, we started adding information and images to the wiki. Effectively anyone can edit the wiki which is useful as long as we are signed in from our own accounts we can edit it at any point which alternatively creates "collective intelligence".
