Recently I went to a meeting at University as we were offered to come along if interested in journalism, editorial or graphic design. Furthermore I went along and met Rebecca Keegan who is the Managing Director and ContentEditor of the Gay Magazine in Liverpool.

After the meeting I emailed Rebecca asking what work she would like me to carry out, furthermore we met for a coffee to talk about what she would like me to do for her business. Firstly she asked me to attend a Press Release at the Metquater in Liverpool. Meanwhile, this was a nervous task for myself as I have never done this before, I was not a 100% what I needed to gain from it, however Rebeccas words were 

"Talk to people, and have fun"

Well, I was at the event. I was confident, and spoken to the PR's who explained all the products which were going to be big sellers this year at the Metquater (Liverpool) named "Objects of Desire"- Champagne and Canapes on arrival too! It was almost my dream come true...

I took notes throughout, whilst getting the PR's emails in case they were needed when creating the publication. After the event I was given freebies of their products.. (how fabulous)
